CHRISTY LONGACRE - Head Coach

Started her collegiate coaching career at Ball State University in 2014 as an Assistant Coach and was appointed as the Head Coach in December 2016. She spent two seasons with the Cardinals before returning to the Big East Conference as the Head Coach for Georgetown University in January 2018.

Longacre played at Old Dominion University from 2009-2013. She was named to the All-America first team by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association as a senior at Old Dominion in 2013 and was a second-team selection as a junior in 2012. She was a conference Defensive Player of the Year on two occasions, earning the award in the Colonial Athletic Association as a junior and in the Big East as a senior.

A two-time first team all-conference and NFHCA All-Region selection, Longacre scored 20 goals as a four-year letter winner for Old Dominion. She helped the Monarchs to four NCAA tournament appearances, including a trip to the national semifinals in 2011. As a senior in 2013, she was also the ODU Alumni Association's Female Athlete of the Year.

The Bethlehem, Pennsylvania native earned her bachelor's degree from Old Dominion in December 2013.

LIZ SACK - Assistant Coach

Sack came to the Hilltop after eight seasons in Division I field hockey.

Sack joins the Georgetown staff after four years on the sideline at St. Joseph's University. With the Hawks, Sack helped guide the team to the first three NCAA Tournament berths in program history. The Hawks ended the 2018 season ranked 10th in the final NFHCA Coaches Poll, the highest ranking in program history.

As an assistant coach, Sack mentored six All-American athletes during her tenure and won three Atlantic 10 championships between 2017 and 2020.

At the end of her second year on Hawk Hill, Sack was selected to take part in the annual NCAA Women Coaches Academy. The Women Coaches Academy is a partnership between the WeCoach organization and the NCAA that promotes visible women in leadership positions.

Sack began coaching after a successful career as a student-athlete at Syracuse University. In her final three seasons with the Orange, Sack secured a regular spot in the lineup and scored 12 goals with 7 assists for a total of 31 career points.

Sack started in consecutive National Championship games for The Orange in 2014 and 2015. The team finished as the runners up in its first appearance with Sack on the pitch before taking home the championship in 2015.  The Orange's 2015 national championship was the first national title in program history, and Sack made the first assist in the game. Sack is tied for first in program history with six goals in the NCAA tournament.

Originally from Havertown, Pennsylvania, Sack was named 2012 First Team All-State as a senior at Merion Mercy Academy.
